KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –

Operation & Maintenance-

·         Technical knowledge of disciplines like video compression (MPEG-2, MPEG-4), digital video broadcast (DVB), video servers, Streaming Technologies, IP networking, Set-top boxes, EPG, and Web-based client/server applications.

·         Regular maintenance of equipment’s (Encoders , Receivers , NMS, etc.).

·         Knowledge of CAS system - Simulcryption and good understanding of Encryption, decryption, Access criteria, ECMs and EMMs.

·         Provide Technical Support to various departments for Audio/Video, MPEG and DVB domain & S/w Tests such as OTA, Manual Tuning, FP, EPG, B-Mail and iTV Tests.

Baseband Maintenance-

·         Attentive to all operations & activities of the team.

·         Regular analysis of Baseband Services for better quality.

·         Monitoring of Video quality.

·         Proper action during negative situation, if any.

Stock & Inventory-

·         Tracking of various equipment’s (Encoders, Receivers, Baseband equipment’s , Analyzers etc.)  in a scheduled manner.

·         Keep maintaining of installed online & standby equipment’s monthly.

·         Inform team about the faulty equipment.

Research & Troubleshooting-

·         Troubleshoot the happening faults in the equipments as soon as possible.

·         Implementing of thoughts to make the current operation functions more effective & economical.

• T-SQL, PL/SQL, and procedural scripting for automation.
• Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL) is must.
• Understanding of PowerShell, Shell scripting for database automation is an advantage.
