Place the DishTV Universal Remote on a flat surface. Take your TV remote and place it in front of the Universal Remote so that their LED lights face each other directly. The distance between the remotes should be 5cm.

Place both remotes face down on a flat surface (about 3 cm apart). Press the key you want to learn, such as the Power key, and the LED will flash once and stay on. Now press the TV power again, if learning is successful, the LED flashes twice and stays on. If it is not successful, the LED slowly flashes four times. You can repeat the above steps with other keys to learn.

After all buttons have been learned, press and hold TV POWER for 5 seconds, then the LED flashes slowly 3 times (learning signal), indicating that it is exiting learning mode and saving the learned code. If there is no learning signal within 10 seconds, the system automatically exits the learning state.
