It comes with a recorder, simply plug in a USB device and get started.
How to Set-up USB Device
Plug in the USB device into the USB port located on the back panel of the DishNXT STB. Press the Record Button Recorder on the remote and follow the on-screen instructions.
How to Pause and Play
Press the Pause Button while watching any playing event to pause LIVE TV. Simply press the Play Button on the remote to resume from where you paused.
How to Record
Simply press the Record Button Setting on the remote to record at any point during a current playing program. To record a program select the program from the EPG or the info Bar and press Record Button on the remote. For time based recording select a channel from the DVR menu and set the time record.
How to Manage Recordings
Simply press the File Button File Management on your remote to access the recorded content.
